Rediscovering High Angle Battery, Portland
The restored High Angle Battery at the Verne on Portland is officially opened this weekend.
Dorset Council has been working with the Portland community to breathe new life into the historic High Angle Battery site, as part of a lottery-funded project to improve the heritage, interpretation, and access to the site.
Throughout the summer, the revitalized High Angle Battery site will host an exciting calendar of community events. The festivities kick off on Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th April with the 'State of Alarm' immersive art and sound installation.
