FSG is delighted to announce the recipients of its latest round of grant funding. Chair of the awards committee Paul Beckmann said

“I am very pleased to announce that we have made two new grant awards. We are supporting further work on the transcription of an early C17th manuscript on English fortifications and funding two replica guns and carriages in the Traditore or ‘Traitor’, battery at Fort 2 in Antwerp. I am pleased with the continuing variety in our grant awards. This time we have an academic research project and a project to better present a fort to its visitors.

I am also delighted to announce that due to the generosity of our donors we have raised sufficient funds to support another round of grant applications in 2026 which will close on 31 July 2026. This is a major step forward as it is the first time we have been able to run two rounds of applications in a year. So that we can maintain this momentum and offer more grants please consider donating to our fundraising appeal.”
